Google takes two attempts?

Poop! Turned off the ipad, turned back on after about five minutes, tapped google and same problem.

Trying to figure all this out. Switched to classic google so far so good. Keyboard search key doesn't function with classic. Must use the blue button next to google search window which is fine by me. Is this normal?

I suspect auto correct jumped in. "........ if I don't pay then to repair it" and "them*" later to correct "then".

Yes I'm sure you're suspicions are right Roy. Of course re-reading ones post before sending and if necessary using the old "Edit" button after sending if necessary, as a courtesy to readers trying to decode that message, would not go amiss. Still, the bit about the "virus" seemed a bit over the hill!
