So, how long did it take folks to get used to not having a home button? I use it on my old iPad Pro and old Mini a lot, especially for taking screen shots etc

Same here, right away, I didn't miss the home button one bit, one of the best things Apple did.

Home button is a must have option I don’t know how anyone can not get along with out it. There is one on my ipad 9th gen but I don’t have one on my iPhone 13.
