It seems like the iPad is being used for every hobby under the sun, so it’s no surprise to see a knitting app popping up, called Knitting & Crocheting HD. The app is the work of Jones APR, and is a full-featured knitting and crochet app packed with over 500 photographs, detailed illustrations and step-by-step instructions.
The app is a family affair with Dee’s niece Brooke proudly sporting her “Baby Wonderful†outfit on the home page. Knitting topics include Increases & Decreases, decorative touches, fixing mistakes, knitting in the round, knitting with colour, finishing projects and more. The crochet section includes instructions on how to make slip knots (not the heavy metal band), chains, slip stitches and single, half double, double, triple and even double triple crochet stitches.
Knitting and Crocheting HD 1.0 is available now worldwide for $4.99 from the Apple iTunes iPad App Store.
