Nope he's Somerset born and bred. I met him here when we emigrated when I was 21 years old. He was a farmer working near where I kept my first horse. He sold the stables hay. We've been married 21 years now! I have a 13 year old daughter who attends the Secondary School I teach science at and a 17 year old daughter who goes to a local College.

Ahhhh, the old weary traveller meeting a stable boy romance all over again.

21 years, I got a long way to go to catch up.

When ever I read this thread I get hungry, even though I've just eaten.
I think I'm going to have jungle oats tomorrow for breakfast btw

I love jungle oats. Especially in the winter. It fills you up for the day and you don't feel hungry for days. It's supposed to be good for you anyway! Slow release food is good.

No, I don't know! It's called Quaker Oats over here but being an SA, I forget I live here! You are making me homesick young man! I like Maltabella as well. We have quite a few SA shops over here and I have it in my cupboard. Unfortunately, my kids love pronutro too, so that doesn't stick around long.

Haven't got a clue what jungle oats are, or a lot of the other things you mention

AA. What are blue potatoes? That dish sounds very nice. But then I like anything with garlic

Blue potato is a hybrid. The flesh is blue.
Often found at farmers markets.
