We have started watching some programmes on the Really TV channel.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is incredible. It's great to see well deserving folk being helped by their communities. And to rebuild a house in 1 week is amazing, even with the builders using factory assembled components!

Sometimes I think they over do it.
What happens after they leave is there some element of smoke and mirrors for the cameras.
I'd like to see a return to the houses in 12 months time

Same here Julie. House seem to go up way too fast. You never hear about the problems that must occur later. I know we've had a few problems with a certain builder in our area.

I do agree. Also I agree with a follow up programme being made.

The hype is something else!

I've just watched what IMHO is excellent TV. The story is engaging and inspirational. It involves people from most walks of life. Lastly, it's factual.

The programme is about the Cutty Sark a tea clipper preserved at Greenwich.

Try this link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/tv/episode/b01bndpp/

If it doesn't work then look for "Cutty Sark: National Treasure" on BBC iPlayer.

Folk are praising the BBC documentary on Bomber Command inWW2.

It looks like "Auntie" is screening a series of good documentaries to celebrate the jubilee year.
