Favorite Movies for Halloween?

With my favorite holiday rapidly approaching, I have a damned good excuse to glut myself on horror movies and candy....and was wondering what are some of your favorite movies/shows to watch during the Halloween season? Here are some of mine...

{*} Ginger Snaps
{*} Halloween (original John Carpenter version; also Halloween III - although it's crap, it's a nostalgic one for me)
{*} Trick or Treat (excellent Halloween-themed horror anthology from 2007)
{*} Return of the Living Dead (cheese-tastic classic from 1985)
{*} Something Wicked This Way Comes (the book is an essential read as well)
{*} Hocus Pocus (would not be Halloween w/o seeing this one)
{*} Sleepy Hollow (and Nightmare Before Christmas...or any Tim Burton)
{*} House of 1,000 Corpses

I will have to think more but Halloween 1, 2, and 4, I think are the best. My kids loved Hocus Pocus! Ginger Snaps sounds so familiar....

We don't have Halloween here, not really, some do it. My kids loved it though.
Never heard of Ginger Snaps?

Halloween films definitely. Tim burton films. What are the ginger snaps?

It's all about werewolves and two sisters, the first and third films are best. Nightmare before Christmas is a great family Halloween film.

How could I forget.....Hellraiser, the first through to the third, in fact anything by Clive Barker although his books blow the films into the weeds.

From Dusk Till Dawn, I love that movie!

If anyone could film James Herbert novels then they would be scarier than a very scary situation, in scary town on the continent of scary on the dark side of planet scary!!!

Would that be with a side helping of scary Gabriel!! LOL

I Love James Herbert, but have you tried Shaun Hutson.........oh boy, scary to the power of 1000!!

Surely nothing says scarier than JH's The Dark, I'll never forget the passage where they are looking through the letterbox at that dog!!! That man can write scary!
