Emails sent from iPad not in Web folder

My wife has an iPad2 4.3.3. Her Cox email account was set up as per instructions. All server names correspond with instructions on Cox website. Her email works fine except that emails she sends from her iPad do not show up in her online Web "sent" folder even though the recipients get the messages. Everything she does online gets "synced" to her iPad but not vice versa. How can this be corrected so that messages sent from her iPad show up in her Cox online web "sent" folder, not just the sent folder on her iPad?

I have the same problem with my iPad, however when I send Gmail emails from my iPhone, they show up as sent emails in my iPad and vice-versa.

I too, have gmail and everything works fine.
