Emails and typing very slow on ipad air 2.

My emails and typing replies to emails seems to be incredibly slow. Sometime 5 words slow!!!

Has anyone else had a problem and any good ideas please.

Which software is installed on your device? The latest iOS is 9.2.1. In case you haven't done so, update your iPad.

Rebooting might help as well: press and hold Home and Power button until you see the Apple logo. Let go of both as soon as the logo appears, your iPad will power up on it's own.
