Electric shock?

I have just purchased a new ipad Air2 and although very pleased with it. When it's naked on the stand and on charge if I touch it gently on the rear or edge I feel a slight electric tingle . Has anyone else had this experience? Is it normal?

Are you using the charger and cable that came with the iPad?

Yes, and I have also used a charger from the previous model iPad which gave the same results.

Is the power supply plugged direcly into the iPad; or is the Stand plugged into power and the iPad connected to the stand.

If the second, the try the same experiment without the stand. If the tingle goes away, throw away the stand (or have it checked out by a competent technician). If the first, you should probably have Apple check it out.
