Ebooks via SD Card Adapter

Is it possible to copy ebooks from an SD card to IBooks using the Apple SD Card connection kit?

Ebooks still under copyright are usually tied to a particular device (or devices) registered to the purchaser's account through DRM. Public domain titles can often be transferred if they're in a compatible format?

I Know That...

My question is can I transfer any ebooks to Ibooks, or Stanza, etc. (OK, public domain epubs) using the SD card adapter?
