Am having a problem with the e-mail in that when I touch the screen to get the message to scroll, it just closes the e-mail app. Before ios5 I just tap and slide the screen to read the lower part of the message, but now it just closes the app. Any help please

With regards to your issue, mine does it as well, it could be due to not enough memory available. Try close some of your open apps. This can be done by double tapping the home button, and holding down on one of the apps. It will begin to shake and a red no entry sign will appear. If you click the red no entry button, the app will close.

Now that you are here you will never want to leave, so have the time of your life. :)

Regards,
Chays

The same thing happen to me with apps like the iPad forum and Facebook and mail. I think it might be a bug in IOS 5. Does it crash every time, or only occasionally?

I have no other apps running at all and it never did this before the update

Perfik,
Maybe try turning off your ipad completely my holding the on/off switch until you get the lock screen to power off. Sometimes by doing that it works some of the kinks out in the system and allows things to "reset" itself. Let us know if this does not work! :)

Thanks guys, doing a full reset has done the trick, I never thought of that, old age I guess !!!
