Droid tether?

How is this done? I have the iris with I think 2.1 but surely it should work also. Any help on this would be great.

If you're running 2.1, you'll have to root to be able to tether wirelessly. Otherwise you'll have to force the 2.2 update or wait on the OTA update.

What do you mean by root? I'm not familiar with tethering yet.

Root is like jailbreaking.
