Maybe they want to make another "leap-year-like" dragon, only 3days to breed, so i'm guessing a Rainbow combo (any 4-element)

Wish they would at least give you a combo with such a short time dragon....I hope it will go in more then just a Rainbow habitat. Otherwise I'm going to have to Hibernate a couple Rainbow to make space.....

That's a nice idea oldsmol, but those are just based on my personal experienced, nothing guarantees a Gold Trophy. A dragon may receive a Gold Trophy one week, and only a Silver Trophy in the same event the next week. And as you can see, most of the dragon i used are limited dragons, so not all people have those dragons, you can get Gold Trophy even by using pure element dragon. And most of the dragon i used are level15 and some are 20.

I tried using your list for dragons for the colosseum event for two nights. Unfortunately I only got silver awards. I went back to using a pure element and got a gold. The pure elements seem to work well enough for me and take less thought when choosing a contest.

Good luck to everyone with whatever dragons you choose for the colosseum events.

If I told you how many Rainbow I have, you would hate me! Just a hint, I had so many Rainbows pop from breeding I started displaying them all over my islands.

Re-reading the post on Facebook by Dragonvale, and I read this "Look what the wizards found at the end of the rainbow". Maybe Breeding two Rainbow will have a small chance to give a Celtic? Or maybe Rainbow and Leap Year?

Sandbox says Storm plus any Plant/Plant hybrid. Sun and Moon fails, but you can avoid a Rainbow fail with Storm and Evergreen. I tried Clover and Storm in both breeding areas....two fails I want this dragon since I'm part Irish!!!

yes, 3rd tries with evergreen(15)+storm(15) give me Celtic in EBC; less fails (no rainbow fail).

check out the sandbox; these are the combo that gives you least(8) fails:

Ash + Storm
Bloom + Storm
Cactus + Storm
Evergreen + Storm
Lichen + Storm
Plant + Storm
Reindeer + Storm

Glad you finally got it Olds.

Hi everyone, I'm back after the most beautiful week in Bali. It went way too fast..... Spents lots of time with grand kiddies in the pool, got a nice tan. Lots of time with my 17 yr grandson talking everything electronic and learning lots. Relaxed with my three kids and was pleasantly surprised at the airport when my youngest brother showed up and joined us for the trip which was a wonderful birthday surprise. How my kids kept that under raps for 12 weeks is beyond me, although they did slip up a few times but I didn't notice..ha ha

Having no luck getting mt display Aqua......but I have just got two Celtic back to back. Sooooo!!!! happy with that as my blood is pure Irish and have a great affinity for the Emerald Isle where we spent our holidays with relatives.

I love the Dragon and the Egg is the best yet! Good luck everyone.
