Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I got my slag this morning with metal and earth. That is my first one. It's still got about 18 hours to go, but I'm happy to wait. I just need one more malachite and all my shrines will be gold. I have leveled up 13 of my panlongs to level 16. It will be a slow grind from here on in to even one crown. Once I get my malachite I'm on the hunt for one more ruby - yay. Then, I will breed my gold dragons and change a habitat or two. Really happy the wizard has been good to me! Thanks wizard, and thanks too to each and every one of this forum family who continue to share what works for you - as what works for you, can work for all.

Also, if you try fire and snow, you will get one of three dragons. Snow 8 hours, blazing 8 hours or frost fire 12 hours. Hope that helps.

So how do you think I can maximise earning from metal habitats? When I get a chance to check in on the game the water, air lightening fire are all full, earth and cold usually close to it but the metals just aren't pulling their weight. I've put the lightening boost on them to help the coppers. There are 2 forges in there but their boost is helping my panlongs on another island.

That's the best you can do, copper with lightning and metal boost. that's the way it is, small earner dragon in large cap habitat and big earner dragon in small cap habitat.

Quicksilver, copper and forge appear to be the best metal earners. Unfortunately they are not high earning dragons. You would be better to have an earth or cold habitat as the dragons for these habitats are higher earners. I have 4 metal habitats, soon to sell off 2 of them and replace with treasure or even rainbow once my metal shrine turns gold.

Without boost Malachite is the fastest earner in metal habitat at 55dc/min. Forge and Copper tie at 43dc/min. Quicksilver is 4th at 35dc/min, with metal boost it's just 42dc/min.

We still don't have limited dragon with metal element, if that comes, that will be the fastest earner for metal. and i hope they will make another 4-element dragon with cold/lightning/plant/metal elements.

I got my first panlong using blazing and mud, standard combo I guess. I was tired of failing at getting a ruby at the time so decided to do sth different. I think I was extremey lucky getting my panlong so quickly. Second panlong I got by using the panlong-ice combo. Again a lucky shot I think!

That is just the best! Panlong army, bring it on. Your shrines will love it, and you will too. Less hungry little dragons to feed. Just think, for every panlong you level up, 4 shrines will level up all at the same time. It's a great feeling. Congratulations. Maybe you could post your winning combo to help others?

Backflip will come up with something beyond the gold crowns and the gold shrines. For me personally, I'd love to see those shrines do the dragonvale happy dance. How neat would that be?

I see Suzabella that someone has just listed a successful breed for panlong....I can hear that panlong army marching on the move....I think they are heading your way!

So I wanted to level up quick & spent about half a billion dv cash on growing the most expensive crops!! It worked out perfectly I went from about one tenth of the green bar to next level(35) in just one day!!! Those crops cost 5million but they generate 2.5 million in xp plus 100,000 food which also gains a lot of xp when you give it to your dragons!!

This was a great strategy since I needed that last habitat for my two new gold dragons which should hatch in the next two days! one in 24 hours & the other well about fifty or so since my dragons are still breeding!

Next step for me is to fill the gemstone island so ruby I'm still breeding for you then to move on to collect all dragons & all eggs

That's one thing I have yet to find out and record - which treats yield most xp!
