Think it's 24 hours cos I've sometimes had it refresh about six hours after sending if I've been delayed.

Good point. Maybe that's why at times I have been able to send gems twice a day! Now I can't return fast enough...cause I'm constantly on!!

Quick question....

Does the gem tree refresh every 24 hours, or every 24 hours after the last gem is given out?

Yes it should. Based on the coliseum clock it's about 24 hrs. However, with life interruption, seeing a performance, movie etc, I am back to late hours again. Literally, I had my husband wake me up so I could gem friends. I am almost caught up on my list.

That is my biggest wish, gems will reload everyday at noon. Regardless when you give them. BFS please program this in the game. It cannot be that hard to do.

How many posts do you think I can make in a row without being interrupted?

Actually, here's the real question. I really like the fact that you can plainly see an element inside of the orbs above the head of a 10+ dragon. It's very clear with the higher resolution of the iPad. Does the element shown give us any hints about breeding? Is it that dragon's dominant element?

What levels were they at? And did you use the same pair for all 50 attempts?

Level of dragon and order they are placed in the Breeding Cave makes no difference what so ever. I ran a comprehensive series of breeding tests with Air and Mud dragons in order to make Sandstorm, and the results are at Does dragon order and/or level impact probability when breeding? but pasted below.

Here goes nothing....

My world of dragons.. You enter thru the isle of Panlong. These breasts guard the island from the egg snatchers. The dragon keepers here have their hands full trying to keep track of them all. They will sometimes lose one in the trees that grow here. Enter if you dare... You never know where these dragons are hiding...

If you travel to the east (right) you will come to the island of fire and lightning. The rainbow dragons greet all new comers here. The suns help keep this island warm and bright. (do not forget your sunglasses ) but the wizards do not stay to long here.. Can you imagine walking around in a sauna all day??? And do not forget to wear some special shoes they say the ground here is like the sun it's self...

Keeping on to the right you come to the island of dark and ash... These dragons have no keepers. The explosions here are toxic. Only the toughest dragons can survive here. Everything is rock and ash. But the dragons here are very busy.. They work day and night digging trying to keep the other island safe from the volcanic explosions..

Moving to the south west you come to the marsh lands. This island is the perfect place for raising food. There are lots of dragon keepers here. There is lots to do. From harvesting food to keeping the fast growing marsh nice and tidy. Visitors here love to stay. The air is crisp and clean with lots of water for swimming and tall forests to explore.

Moving on over to the grand island. The isle of games. You will find no dragons here. At least not on the surface.. They are all kept in the caves a waiting there chance to escape. One gold in the games a freedom is theirs. But if u lose then off to the pond you go. Here the dragons are sent back in time. They will return to the caves as babies so they may go back to the games. There is lots of history here. The proud dragons of the arena stand tall over the island gifts of flags and trophies. The dragons take their finally walk thru these dragons. Hoping for the gold and the tree full of wonderful rubies to return to they homes proud.

The final island is covered in ice. The wizards live coming here. They are able to skate around and watch all the wonderful dragons. There is no need for keepers here. These dragons would not survive off this island. They need the cold to live. But the one person that does live here is always busy. I mean can you imagine all those wizards skating around and slipping.. Right into the dragon pits. It can get pretty messy..
