Woohoo! 11.46pm in NSW, just got my second leap year with love and cold.Got the first with firefly and seaweed.

But I've been upset with DV for ages now... I still haven't got my second moon. It's all I want

Flower/storm, mud/storm and sonic/storm keep giving me suns. I'm so sick of seeing them.

So PLEASE tell me, if you've got a moon recently, what did you use?

hey Frenzzz, wanted to share this.. I tried all day with 2 sets of Love x Cold in both the breeding caves..
Desperate to get a LYD, sped up some and atlast got a LYD in the BC and was dancing with my Mom (I am a 28 yr old male IT professional, you can imagine me dancing with my mom.. LOL..) What i actually did to get a LYD was just increased my Lvl 12 Cold to Lvl 13 and tried the combo again, it worked..
As the human mind always desires for more, i decided to sped that and try with the same combo again.. Spent around 30 gems to get rid of the next few useless breedings.. Then keeping in mind the Lvl up process, this time i decided to Lvl up my love from Lvl 13 to Lvl 14 and BOOM, got my second LYD..
Now my sister joined me in the dance as well.. A great thanks to all you guys who kept on providing suggestions and motivated everyone in this Forum..
Now, come on frenzzz, KEEP BREEDING..

And forgot to add this... Trying for the 2 LYDs, i got a 48hr in EBI and also got 4 Frostfires..
Once the LYDs are setup, my hunt for that elusive Rainbow and the Gold shrines will continue..

So Leap year dragon will be leaving after 1st of March 2012?

What an exciting 2 days have been.. I got my first Leap Year dragon which is now in the hatchery.. And today I got another Leap Year Dragon in the EBI. And because I did not wanna leave the basic cave empty, so I decided to try my luck in getting another Leap Year dragon using fog/lava.. And bammm... I got another Panlong..

I think it is still worthwhile to celebrate such rare moments when every breed leads you to a rare dragon whether we want it or not.

And for those who are still trying for the Leap Year dragon, dun give up!! If you really need to speed things up, well hope that you have enough gems to overcome it! Gambate!!

I just got it you guys! That last post I replied to from flattsfanatic....I said if I get one more try which there it was....my regular breeding cave was done and ready so I sped up a swamp in the hatchery....last try...this was to be it! I put back in my gene theory firefly/seaweed (reverse order of the pair that got me my first 2 rainbows) and wouldn't you know it! I got it! No way will I speed it up! Haha

Yeah!!!! Congrats! I'm so happy for you! And I have some news myself.... I just checked on my dragons to collect coins and one breeding in my regular cave was finished so I put Love/Cold in there again because I always like the surprise that combo seems to give me... guess what???? I GOT MY SECOND LYD!!!!!!! I almost fell out of my chair because I didn't expect it to be available anymore!!!!! But sure enough, it's a 14 hour 20 min breed time! Wow!!!! OK, yeah, I'm a little excited! hee, hee!

I'm sure others have replied to this but no...not at all. To me it's not cheating because you are honestly paying for those gems and supporting the game maker. Speeding things up, buying eggs, hurrying food...that is all just impatience to me which I have had plenty of in this game! Lol. I've just finally learned to hord my gems a few months back but give me a new dragon to try for and I usually have a relapse and start speeding up etc. hehe. It's the point when they do things to the device that allows them to have UNLIMITED coins, gems and food. What good is that? IMHO you are taking money from the game maker and second cheating yourself. My conscious doesn't allow for me to do things like that. I believe in honesty and karma too much plus I would get bored too quickly even if my conscious could handle it. :thumbs:

Very well said! I agree with you 110%. It's no fun when you have a cheat app doing everything for you.

I kept going with it. I bought 300 worth of gems and used 220 speeding up mostly fireflies so about 20-25 times?
Finally got it after MONTHS of trying
