Having said that any idea why it wont let me build the habitat? What's the limit on 2 islands + epic breeding cave? Do I need the third island? I have 15 habitats

If you can't build a habitat, it means you're maxed out for your level. Sell a habitat and you'll be fine.

Hi all,

I dont have much time here today but wanted to pop in and say congratulations to all those who have recently bred rares/the dragons they wanted! I hope everyone is well and doing well with their DragonVale goals, whatever they may be.

I am still having a, increasingly huge, lull in breeding any rares myself despite apparently giving lots of great combo suggestions to others, hehe.

So as a 'last resort', I am putting it out there...I think I need help. I'm hoping someone might have a "magic" suggestion for me or maybe point out something I am missing or should be doing??
Please feel free to visit my park (see signature for Game Center ID) and let me know if I'm overlooking anything you can see. (Please note I am not asking for gems, just a visit -come claim some free coins while you look! - and advice if you have it). I'll answer as many questions as possible in here (feel free to PM me to ensure I see it!) if there's something you need to know first.

I have been following the forum for a while but not posted before. Thanks to everyone for the great tips, I have found them really helpful.

Haven't had much luck with the rares (only sun so far) and it took a long time to get sandstorm. I finally got the sandstorm using air 10 with mountain 7.

Hatched my moon dragon definitely my favourite of all my dragons so far. Still working on my blue fire

It's a seaweed :/. I got both my reindeer with Cold+Seaweed. I did get one seaweed in between but 2/3 tries were reindeer. Hope it helps!

Well it's official I have completed all Dragonvale goals including the shrines and I'm really happy about it it has taken what seems like forever but finally. I was hoping that something would happen when all shrine goals were done but sorry to say no nothing special happened but don't let that discourage anyone because it still gives you plenty of Dragonvale playing time and things to do so continue to play and enjoy and thank you all for the gems you send because without your help I would have never been able to have done any of this so thank you all again and as usual...... Breed on!!!!!

The max so far is 3 not including the new epic breeding island so it's technically 4 if you count the new breeding grounds

Air and sandstorm only take 2hrs to breed and two hours to hatch so they're the perfect way to get the air shrine goal completed quickly

Good tip! Only problem is.... I don't have a sandstorm yet lol, but I'll keep it in mind

Is it posible that im not getting a rainbow becouse i got one and forgot and sold it earlyer in the game? Maybe i didnt know its so rare
Im wating until lvl 21 and if i wony get one or two im leaving

Hey guys im new here but i discovered something: the breeding time is almost always incubation time of an egg
I tried this for getting a blue fire 1try mountain + fire dragon it takes 12 breeding and there are no other combinations who also take 12 inbucation

Try this and tell me your results!
