New dark/light dragon sounds amazing, can't wait for the next reveal!

A quick question, I understood the rule when breeding two different seasons dragons (eg autumn with summer) was that the result would always be either of the parents, so in this case only an autumn or a summer? Was this right??

As I've just tried it as a quick way to try for another season dragon and instead I got a Scorch dragon - which would indicate that this type of breeding can now result in any combination of their elements...

Breeding rules has changed, it's intentional. It's written on their website.

Went in to the Sandbox. Suppose it's in an obsolet stadium now - nothing is right ... Or at least - what I experienced is not to be found there.

Indeed. Any breeding of epics can result in any dragon with the parent elements. This will go on until the light and dark dragons appear. Fun times are ahead



The only glitch I have is trying to give gems. Every time I click on the Friends tab, my game crashes. I hope this stops soon!

I'm hearing you olds - the breeding rules have gone out the window. When you get a 16 hour instead of a 6 hour breed, it does not help with the flow of magic - waiting to breed and hatch for longer periods of time creates a lack of activity and in turn produces points much slower. Frustrating. I'm breeding all manner of dragons I don't want or need and waiting with long turn around outcomes. Rust and rust has just given me 15 + hours! magnetic and magnetic 16+ hours. Bring on light and dark so this ceases. diz diz dizzy

Announcement from BFS DRAGONVALE 2.0 - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW! Breeding Changes? Due to a rift in magic, the wizards have noticed some changes in dragon breeding. Apparently, with the wild effects of the new magics coming into DragonVale, Epic Dragons bred together from the same Habitat can produce an egg with any of the combined elements. Increased Level Cap! More Habitats! Player level-cap has been raised to level 50 from 45 and they will be able to unlock more habitats along the way. When and how do I receive my rewards from the event? When an element has been released, players will be able to find their rewards in the Gifts tab under the Social menu at the bottom of the screen. This is from the rules mark posted from the backflip page or wherever he found it.. From my understanding you only get a different element dragon if both epics come from the same habitat..
I tried to go for my second autumn by breeding autumn and summer and got an 8 hour time. I looked and realized they came from the same habitat I'm about to activate kairos' power and try again with a spring dragon from a different habitat. Let's see what happens I'll check back after my meal

Okay I guess my understanding of the new breeding rules are not so good. I tried autumn and spring from two different habitats and I got a three hour breeding time. I really want that second autumn so I can move in to the hunt for bronze treasure.. I'll just keep trying the regular way with basic hybrids and hopefully breed another autumn and then an egg. Then ill just need that bronze..

On another note, has antoje managed to complete the dark and light magic bars? I'm a little over three fourths of the way done! Hopefully I'm done after the magic is restored at the portal and the rewards are bigger when I collect from my habitats

After building my Panlongs and Paper Armies on the shrine grind I was so sad when they changed the shrine rules, but I got over it. Never had the heart to part with my pan mamas and papa papas though, so even though they may not make as much $$$, I am going to bring them back for while. I will slowly build up some leap years, blue moons in case I want to go that way.

But I love my pans and papers, and will be happy to see them put in force again. Changes can be a mixed blessing ;-)

I play two games, one on my iPhone and one on my iPad. Was able to use the phone more in the past 24 hours and got finished one bar of the light dragon and got an egg right on the Light Habitat It is diminishing returns on each task, so you have to do all of them, breed, build, check party hats, race, coin collect. Come back after a few hours and try again. Wont always have the time to do it, and my big game with the dark side ahead may yield something tonight or tomorrow AM. I think I am the latest timezone person here. (California USA). best of luck and magic to you all!

After completing the 5600 magic it will reward you Large Dark Habitat to hold 3 dark dragons, on the next level magic goes up to 7200, i don't know what's the reward yet, i think it's for Huge Habitat or the dark egg will finally hatch.

You breed Rust with Rust, they have same habitat (water and metal), so it can produce any dragons that have combined elements of water and metal, so the results can be Rust, Quicksilver or Platinum

Not sure at all any longer they changed the order - or perhaps it's gone back to the same as before ...
When I did put forward the same idea in the Facebook-group for Dragnvale, I directly got people telling me, BFS never takes idéas from players, of knows reasons ...

Edit: right now I put in two Double Rainbows. Got 39 hours.
And what is worse: when I checked the egg from the breeding before, it was a OlympusBronze!. If I check my Hib cave I already got 4 of that kind ... and can furtilize with them .. Grrrr .
