If you like fantasy try the Looking Glass Wars a new twist on Alice in Wonderland. Also the Hunger Games series was awesome. I love everything by Charles DeLint too. I could go on and on, I'm a book nerd! I have a Masters of English Literature.

Well done. I read lots of stuff. Fantasy. Forensic stuff. Historical.
Loved dragon tattoo series. Heavy weather in bits but good.

The HC can really be beneficial when you have limited habitat availability. Here's a good example. I'm upgrading my Earth and Lightening shrines right now using Quake dragons. The Quake needs to be, naturally, in a Lightening or Earth habitat. My problem is that I only have one Lightening habitat, and that is on the Nursery Island so is unsuitable. I have nine Earth habitats but they are all part of the Chinese Gold Coin Factory and are inhabited entirely by Pans (love Pans). I don't want to move out a Pan and replace it with a Quake because the Pan, with it's rate of 411 coins a minute dwarfs the production of a Quake.

The HC is the solution. I store the Quake that I'm working on there and swap it out with a Pan a couple times a day to feed the Quake, then swap them back. Helps to keep the coin factory humming, which I need given the demand for coins to buy food to raise the levels to qualify for gold shrines.

BTW, once I finish the Lightening and Earths (it's going to take a while), I'm going to have to think about whether I want to tackle the Plant shrine or not. The dragons, the Plants, couldn't be easier to get. But they have the same insatiable appetite as all the others

I liked those books too, you're right though they were heavy in places. I just finished The Midnight Circus which was good.

Well, I have just chewed through a few gems. I bred 20 love dragons and have them in hibernation. I now have I cave for money for food and the other will be breeding panlongs in the hope of getting to the gold shrines. I have between 12 and 14 of each dragon so in theory I don't need to breed 50 of each love and panlong. I will hibernate the panlongs, take my resident dragons to 15 and then see what's left. Might take a while but it's a plan...
Yes, yes I see you were going crazy :) Just a thought though, you may want to do some calculations with your Panlongs vs normal dragons (oh, and Love dragons) first (I feel a spreadsheet coming on) before leveling up your other dragons coz it only cost you 10k in food to get them to level 10 but leveling to 15 is where they get greedy. You don't want to spend too much on food leveling two of your normal dragons if you can level one Panlong. Hope that made sense.

I'm reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King right now, ever read it? I just finished the 4th one.
I use to read all of Anne Rice too. I like the witch series, can't remember the names now.

I was in depth with Dark Tower also, at one time there was talk of movies. I so hope they do but do it justice on them.

Love your new landscapes. Your islands reminds me of all the seasons. Unfortunately, here in LA we only get two seasons warm and rain. Oh beginning of the month we did have a wind storm, which I have never seen before. San Gabriel valley was hit very hard. Off track here. My favorites are really the plant babies, flower and moss. To bad there is not upgrade for the plant habitat to increase from 500 cap to 100,000. Plant dragons in general produces high.

I'm so glad you noticed the seasons as that's been a conscious effort on my part. We do have four seasons here in Central Oregon and, while they're a little disproportionate, I really enjoy them.

I've been trying to pass that theory on as well. Panlongs take time to get but think once you're beyond a certain level with lots of them earning if you keep a few at lower level to breed you can level up four at once. You can sort the others with frostfire or lurve dragons.

Yay if they do movies they have to be done by the right director. They'd be cool if someone like Guillermo Del Toro (Pans Labrynth) directed.

I've had a Crystal clogging up my system for over 24 hours, but I can't bring myself to waste the gems to get rid of it. All in all, Crystals are a pain. The babies look stupid, the adults don't earn anything, and theyre 24/24. BFS must have stuck them as a kind of short straw.

I had to double check my math. If I place the sandstorm in the air habitat with an air boost, I am receiving 30 coins/min. The same goes with if it is placed in the earth habitat with a earth boost. If it is placed in a earth habitat without any boost it produces 32 coins/min. Masculine Quake dragon produces 85 coins. I am still on level 10 with the dragons. What are you doing?

Oh, you are talking about breeding and selling them. Yes you are correct. I was commenting the number of coins in a habitat.

Yeah breeding for profit you make a million in 2 hours without spending gems (with an initial start time of 2 hours for the first pair). That's 8333 coins a minute.

Some detailed observations and queries:
- On one of my islands I surrounded the portal with flags and none of the visitors could walk around they just kept appearing and disappearing on the portal. So I have moved the portal now.
- what is the benefit, if any, of the visitor numbers apart from letting you know you have more types of dragons and decorations?
- I noticed that when the coin limit of the habitat is ALMOST reached the little treasure chest overflows - interesting that it doesn't do it when it exactly reaches the limit
- when visiting others islands some dragons have a little animated ball above their heads which I think are really pretty when you zoom in on them. Why don't all the dragons have these balls over their heads?

But there's no 3 leaf clovers, and I'm pretty confident we'll be seeing those on that design. Any guesses on what combination of elements to make it?

Would be good if it was cold, lightning and plant
