I take mine to college and when I go visit my mom. But if im going to a public place like the mall I leave it home. It is hard to leave it though. XD

Have a MBPro at work and an MB Air to use as a portable computer. Don't misunderstand, I use the iPad2 every day at home. Email, ebooks, Q&D surfing.

I work from home, so no. I don't even take it to the store with me or nothing

I take it to work every day now. I have all my passwords/usernames/logins etc. in MSecure so it's just too convenient to not have since I have about 5 or 6 different ones at work alone. Depending on where we're going when we go out (shopping) I'll take it to kill time. There aren't too many places we go that we don't take them.

I take my wireless 64gb iPad2 to school (work) and on all motorcycle expeditions. I never realized how much I'd grow to love McDonald's, or Starbucks...

As I am slowly learning how to do more things with my new toy, I'm expanding the scope of places it'll go, but I don't just generally carry it around. Too much risk of me putting it down and losing it!

I rarely leave home without it because it can be used for so many different reasons. I also don't have another portable device that has the features of an iPad, e.g., a smartphone. I primarily use it when I go to work, but when I'm out shopping alone, I frequently use my iPad 2 to take photos of store items (with permission) so my spouse and I can discuss them before deciding on which one to purchase, to scribble down info in my note taking app instead of using pen and paper, and the usual activities like reading and working on a project while in transit, etc.
