Desk top charger

I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5. Is there a charger or wire out there that can connect to a wall charger or the computer that has one wire with the old 30 wire connector, and one with the newer 8 wire connector? I get tired of switching out my chargers at night.

I wouldn't switch them out. I'd plug the phone into the computer, where it will charge quite happily, and plug the iPad into an outlet.

I don't think a split cable exists.

You could get one of Apple's 30-pin to Lightning adaptors, and pop that on/off a 30-pin cable as needed. Maybe some tape and a rubber band (or something) so it stays attached to the cable.

Or this, maybe. I just found it in a quick Google search, so I'm not actually recommending it. But I bet there are a few other's like it somewhere.
