Deleting unwanted music track

How do i remove unwanted music from the iPad? I can't seem to find any Edit function within the default Music app

Swipe across the song name and a delete button will appear.

Slide your finger to the right on the track you want to delete and a 'Delete' button will appear.

This is a standard way for deleting things off the iPad.

To delete whole artists or albums, tap and hold the album icon.
