Definitely a Newbie with an iPad1

I find navigating this site to introduce myself a bit confusing so I'm just going to ask my question and I also want to say 'thank you' to all of you for being there and willing to help.

I want to buy a auto wakeup cover for my iPad1 and don't know where to get it. Lots of auto wakeup overs for all other iPads but not for the oldies -- iPad1.

The iPad1 can't use a Smart Cover-like cover because it has no magnets. So, you can't use the open/wake function. Sorry, but only the iPad2 on have that function.

You can use a cover on the iPad, but it'll have to be connected to a case (cause it can't/won't connect to the iPad). Sorry.
