Date format in excel files on dropbox showing in dollar symbol after ios6 download

Hi anyone knows how to resolve the issue.
Dates on excel files in Dropbox are showing in dollar symbol.

This issue was just brought to my attention from a co-worker.

So far I've tried viewing a spreadsheet in a few apps and they all have the same problem with showing a date format value as a dollar amount.

PDF Expert, SharePlus, Quickview and others all show the dates as currency.

CloudOn and Numbers show the dates correctly.
