my friend got another ipad and how do I copy files to his device?

There is a free app called Bump that allows you to share files, pics, etc. between iDevices. You install it on both devices.

You can't share music from the Music app.

I've heard Bump is a pretty good app.

I use PhotoSync (no hyphen) for photos and videos. It does a good job.
