Changing name on Ipad 1

Is it possible to change the name on an Ipad and still keep everything on it. I have just received my Ipad 2, so Ipad 1 will be going to my hubby. I will be using the same Apple ID for both.

Yes, you do it in itunes on your PC/Mac (right click on its name in the left hand pane under devices), no problem at all changing the name doesn't affect the content of the ipad.

That was easy Thank you, I presume now he can delete any programs he doesn't need and it won't affect mine.
