Case or no case?

I went with a Zero Chroma Vario plus an invisible shield. They add very little weight, yet protect it pretty well.

When traveling with it, I flip the iPad over and the screen is protected. I also slip it into a cheap $5 neoprene netbook sleeve for going through security at checkpoints so it does not stand out as an iPad.

I am using the JAVOedge Axis case. I like being able to turn it either portrait or landscape without having to remove it. It is not as rigid as I would have liked but it works quite nicely to protect.

I wouldn't let my wife out of the house without a case. OtterBoxes on both of mine. I can't stand the thought of scuffed up metal.

I love the cyber acoustics case...very protective and almost invisible when you are using your iPad.

I have the Apple case (and I think I am the only one who has one who actually likes it!) AND a Zagg shield on the front.

Nope. I love mine. I just am curious about all that the market has to offer and to find something a little prettier, if just as functional.

I had the Zagg anti-glare screen protector, but couldn't stand the distortion. I switched to the clear Zagg tonight and am waiting for the bubbles to disappear. So far I have used 3 Zaggs. I don't have the patience to return them to the manufacturer, especially since it is my indecisiveness that is causing the problem.

The Otterbox defender worked well on my iPhone this summer, but it added a lot of bulk. I just switched to a lightweight cover and enjoy the smaller profile. I may consider the Otterbox defender for the i Pad at
some point, but I think I need to see how/when I use it the most.

Need to have a case! I drag mine around everywhere and I travel a LOT - case is a must have!

It really is a matter of personal preference when it comes to accessorizing a device. Different people like different things, including "nothing".

One should also have ipad sleeves, those are the best thing when you are traveling etc.

Currently the apple case is on 24h, in case it gets dropped, or when the iPad is crammed in a backpack with other stuff.

But I am tempted to get an Oberon leather cover, just for the design which is simply gorgeous.

All their covers are handmade to order, and I haven't seen any other vendor who offers this style of leather toolworking.
