Cant download the webkit plugi. Error message showing "Download failed"

Hi,

i want to view my IP cameras on my IPad. When i enter the server address and the port it get a message saying the platform cannot be recognized so i have to select the Apple IPad Safari platform" to download the relevant DVR component. After that i go to download webkit plugin where on clicking the icon i get an error message "Safari cannot download this file". i get stuck here. how do i proceed from here. Kindly help!

You can't download files onto the iPad. The iPad is app driven not file driven.
