Can't download BBC iPlayer

I have an iPad2 and was until recently using BBC Iplayer without any problem today it stopped working, the iplayer screen flashed up briefly then dissappeared. I went on to Itunes to download it again after deleting from my iPad and I don't have the choice as it just shows that the app has been downloaded and no options to download for free.

So you deleted it from your iPad, then went into the app store via your iPad to re-install? It should let you re-download.

Yes I know it should but as I explained the app just shows Downloaded with no choice to get it again.

. You mean is says INSTALLED ? This is because it's showing up as still installed on your device. Complete deletion wouldn't show this message. Try doing a search on your device, perhaps it's still hiding on There Don't know why it isn't working.
