Thank you skimonkey. I did go to the accessories section after my first post. And I wasn't able to find anything that helped. The film has worn off the tip and I was looking to see of there were any suggestings to fix it as I don't want to have to buy a new one. They're not cheap. The one post that I found was asking the same question, but there was no response.

I thought I saw some styluses that were reasonably priced, so maybe have another look. I hope that others may be able to chime in with their thoughts.
corncob said:I order my styluses on amazon.com. Something like $1.50 a 3-pack shipped from Hong Kong. I didn't notice anything about capacitive or resistive but they work fine. I'd post a link but I don't think they allow me to do that but do a search.
dhewson777 said:I got cheap stylus' like that from eBay, they work, but they don't last. The rubber tips start to wear out after a few weeks. The ones I got started leaving a trail on my iPad's screen. Paid about $20 for a store bought one, been using it ever since. 6 months plus so far.
