After transfering books from Amazon (Kindle) to iPad, where are they stored on the iPad?

Apple likes to keep those things a secret! You could jailbreak and then you might be able to locate it. What exactly are you wanting to do?

You can use the iPhone Explorer program to look. You'll find them under Apps / Kindle / Library / eBooks. I have no idea what you intend to do with this info, but I don't recommend adding or removing books this way unless you know exactly what you are doing. Better to use the approved methods and not worry what associated files or databases might be left hanging.

As long as all you want is access to the Media files and App folders you do not need to jailbreak to use this program.
