I got a gold anchor today, ship left 2 hours earlier. I did not send her off yesterday on purpose, to test the theory of the last minute shipment. My previous last min yielded bronze, even with VIP container filled with 3 preserves. But that "last minute" was one hour before departure. Could it be that 1hr vs 2hr makes all the difference in the world? I think it is most likely random but, on the other hand, perhaps there is a glitch to exploit... Hmm...

Folks, may I ask again, how many chemists and lab assistants are needed for the Lipstick upgrade?

Summer I have send my ship within an hr and received a bronze. Let me clarify, it's when a friend fills your last container within an hr of departing. That's why I call it a nail biter because I cannot control that. You need a friend to hold off until less than an hour. So it's like all or nothing. You get the gold within an hour or no one fills it and your ship is not full

What are you talking about? I filled the ship all by myself, it departed 2+ hours ahead of schedule and I received a gold anchor. I did have friends filling the last container close to departure time and got bronze.

You can friends with the (!) in their icon. You get credit for achievement and you get 105% of the value of your goods you fill

Here's what I wrote down about the Heavy Factory upgrades I've done. Don't know any more levels beyond what's indicated so far.

Radio Factory
Lvl 1 - 1 Lab Asst
Lvl 2 - 1 Lab Asst; 2 Assembler
Lvl 3 - 2 Lab Asst; 2 Assembler
Lvl 4 - 2 Lab Asst; 3 Assembler; 2 Radio Electrician

Cosmetic Factory
Lvl 1 - 1 Lab Asst
Lvl 2 - 1 Lab Asst; 2 Chemist
Lvl 3 - 2 Lab Asst; 2 Chemist

My guess for lvl 4 of Cosmetic would be 2 Lab Asst; 3 Chemist; 2 Perfumers. But that's just a guess sticking to the pattern above.

Just checked, I have 4 lab assistants and 2 more are being trained. That said, are you sure you need only one lab assistant for lvl 2? I think it was 2 for me.

GI if you are reading this please make copy paper different than paper and a sort button for friends whose ships have docked. Just made 8 paper only to find out it is copy paper that is needed. Sigh

It was only 1 lab asst at lvl2 for me. But that was awhile ago when I upgraded and wrote it down. But who knows, the only thing you can count on in this game is "change".
