I have 10 medals now, so it is very tempting!
Originally I wanted the whole story, but figured: 7-8 million gathered will not go in hand with my patience (or lack hereoff)
So, within a day, I guess I will do:
-upgrade garage
-Chemistry to level 3
-Cosmetics to level 2
-Furniture to level 3
-Timbersaw to level 5

Then radio factory purchase, electronic upgrade and foodplant upgrade etc. Will have to wait.

Soon my second chemist is ready trained. Have 4 lab assistants in stock and the 5th undergoing training now.

Surrendered to better judgement and used 12 precious credits to buy those 3 silly "caps with a logo" to fill the VIP container. Just to see what happens. Well, I got the 3 caps, spent 12 credits and got about 35,000 coins in return. Sheesh....lesson learnt.

Sort of.

I still have the remnants of the ruins sitting outside my city limits. I've since used extra credits gained to build a second terminal. Actually, all it took was a basic purchase of a taxi to revive that broken first terminal - but then again, I lost over 4 weeks figuring that out. C'est la vie. Better than my grand-daughter selling my precious 9 avos. Hmmmm.....actually, which is worse? Last words - a child can do no wrong.

Till now, I've been too busy amassing tons on coins. Into the top-10 now, but then what?

You've done me a favor. I've just started my upgrades and it's much easier when one has a bus load full of coins behind him. Then again, it take days, mucho hours...

I've got the time, the coins, but not the patience. Sigh. Can't have it all in this game. <grin>

I'm in Singapore and the timing isn't in my favor. It's bed-time here and the best stuff always happens when I've got to sleep. (hmmm....applies to life in general as well, I suppose)

New building is worth the effort...4600 happiness and 700 coins every 2 hrs....and not to many items to produce...yay....

Ouch - I want the new Extreme Sports Park.
But:
148 cookies
96 sour cream
35 muesli

Will take its tolls - considering I wanna fill the port for getting city credits.

For me this building is a must. It uses 135 credits, which is 5 less than 4 donut cafes. Owever, they give only 1.480 happiness, and I will get 4.600 from this one.

Despite having demolished some of the donut cafes (and built some bookstores instead for the bridge task) I still have 7 left.
That can free quite some electricity and still increase happiness.
