My other suggestion is to log into your FB account from a browser and then change your password. Then in big business try a Facebook option to see if it asks your for a password. I did the same thing, I don't use FB but I did create a dummy account for the game bonuses too. What's weird is that I went in there to look what my building looked like a month ago. And I noticed I have like 100+ friend requests. Who wants to be a friend to a nobody, who doesn't have any info nor pics other than big business shots.

Thanks, Gab, I will try tapping etc. I don't have any "friends" on Facebook because I adjusted the privacy settings so that I am the only one who can view posts or have access to anything.
I was able to take pictures for FBook last Monday. Who knows what happened after that. Now when I attempt to do it, I get the usual screen with "please wait", everything looks like the image is being saved and then nothing.

Okay, took a short break from this message to announce my name to the known Universe. It worked just fine. The Universe is Aware. Btw, I think I forgot to mention that they suddenly stopped posting about my game progress. I don't get these annoying screens where they ask you to "say something" about stuff. They still post on my behalf on Twitter (another gaming account I created) but not on Facebook. I get news about "events" and some ads but nothing else. Not that I am sad but still... Could be connected.

I haven't tried to change my password yet. I am just gonna wait a couple days and see what customer service has to say.

PS what's that with autocorrection, it changes the words completely. Just noticed it changed "couple days" to " opulent days" and while I was typing this it changed the word "changed" to " hanged" lol.

Wow, go away for a week and there is 30 pages to read. And population reduction slowed. At 11k. This is taking forever. Back home now so I can focus on it. Congrats to those who finished it this past week!

BTW, I have never gotten an avocado but got my first and only mango today. Doesn't matter really because until I get my population down and back up again, I can't buy the food plant so Eiffel Tower stalled. This might be an excellent time to try for 7m!
 
How does the contest work? I mean the one where you can win medals? Yesterday's contest with dresses... I finished with 9 dresses, I checked a few minutes before it ended. Now when I checked what the new thing would be, candy, I also checked the winners. The bottom of the list had made 8 - hooray, I've made the list for the very first time! But no... I'm not on the list, I see lots of others who made 9 dresses, but I'm not there... Why?

Well I made 8, and sadly did not make the list either, but I understand why I didn't. :-(. In your case I think it has to do with the dynamics of the game. I have not tested it out but I think our individual games only check in with the server every 10 or so minutes. Like when I just complete a daily task for several hundred XP I check the XP leader board and see my old total listed. After 10 or so minutes I check again, and it updated. So it could be that you completed your 9th dress before 10 min of contest ending. Your machine playing the game had you at 9 but did not tell the server until after the game ended. So officially you only had 8 like me but were cut off in the 8 list after the 100.

Moral of the story, finish before 10 minutes of contest ending or if not try closing your game as that may flush out your updates as its closing.

We should do some testing to figure all this out. Good luck on the candy !

Gab, you are right, it is morning for you, but 11pm here in Australia. Good day though, as I only have 3 dresses to make, and 29 lots of flowers to get, with 6 of those well on the way. I also now have 12 books (got 6 today), and now have 6 avocado. So good progress on all fronts.

I also agree to one of the other posts today. I don't take this game too seriously. It was free to start with, and doesn't require money to play if you wish. Enjoy it for what it is, a cheap and cheerful pastime.

Glad to say I got all my flowers and dresses. Woohoo. Ready for the next challenge. . . Getting more books

For the tower quest you do, all 10 in there at the same time. For the avocado achievement you don't, you can sell them off as you get them and it still counts them.

I finished the spring event!!!!!

You might be right... I 'finished' the last dress this morning, shortly before 7am on my way to the shower..., which is when my contests starts/ends.

Well, nothing else to do but try again :-)
