In 39 hours of games play I will be at ZERO population

18 ppl per trip (x2)

36 divide by current population total of 1404 = 39 hrs

How many taxis do you have? Not to be a smarty pants but:

That would be (per taxi) 5 per 5 min trip or a possible 60 per hour.

I use microbus. 48 mins per trip. 18 population. Times that by two as I have to microbus trips on the go.

You know, I had the same problem at first but after a while the books started popping up like there is no tomorrow. I accumulated only 890 energy so far but I already have more books than I need.

When is this quest? Or do you know what happens after the 3 expand territories and 2 admin building upgrade quest?
Thanks

After the tower upgrades to level 3 you need 10 engineers and a number of hammers, I think, after that -- 30 books and 1500 energy.
AFAIK, you need various buildings, first pools and coffee houses, then news stands and bookstores, then pizza huts. Eventually you will need a food plant, which is a must have anyway because it is a money maker. I usually produce meat and veggies overnight so my food plant has plenty to do the next day.

I really lost track of what comes after what but you need to train lots of workers and engineers in advance. I think you need 20 (if not 25) workers and 25 engineers (10 + 15). Also, lots of tools - chisels, hammers, trowels, drills. And limestone, granite and marble, which means lengthy upgrades and long mining hours. 10 avocados and 20 silver medals is a royal pain in the a$$.
I don 't like the competitions. Not because it's hard to win but because you have to monitor your production closely instead of having a life and playing at a leisurely pace. did it three days in a row, won 6 medals (I was #26, #32 and #29) without using credits or whathaveyou, or staying up all night; so it is doable, just not really enjoyable, at least for me.

Thanks Amanda for figuring that out ! I admire your tenacity. I'm sure that effort cramped your business progress with your warehouse holding all that marble.

Luckily you don't have to have them all in your warehouse in one go. Good job that was it though cause I have run out of pumps!
