I wrote to GI support the following:
The above screenshot shows what your blog is saying. The motorcycle club was NEVER offered. And the blog says you can "exchange your silver medals" but the offer is only for GOLD medals (see below screenshot).

This is the response I got:

All the new buildings announced on Facebook are usual time-limited offers. All the time-limited offers appear in a certain order one after another. You will have an opportunity to get newly announced buildings as soon as their turn comes in your game even if it doesn't match to the time they were announced at Facebook. Please, pay attention to the fact that time-limited offers are available for 4 days and if you cancel a certain offer, you will get the next one also within four days.

To get the new buildings in your game please make sure:
1. You have the latest version of the game installed.
2. You have received all the previous special buildings.
3. You haven't received messages concerning cheating.

In case you have additional questions feel free to contact our team! We shall do our best to assist you!

Sigh. Thinking of quitting this nasty game and telling this very very nasty company where to stick it. Am just about to hit level 50 - to all you long-time players; should I go on? Is there any point? I don't think I'm ever going to be able to make a place in competitions as I just don't have the factory power to compete. I don't think I'm ever going to be able to finish off my bridge, as players below level 11 are about as rare as the motorcycle club these days. And I don't think I'm ever going to be able to upgrade my port when it seems that - no matter what I do - there's little apparent difference between completing my port tasks whether I fill the VIP container or not; is that a con, or is something simply not working right with that?

I guess I'm just having trouble supporting anything coming out of Russia these days. Oh...and #freethearctic30

Nope. Per the Sophie note looks like I did/didn't do something right because obviously they did not make a mistake! I don't think Sophie knows anything about this game and the canned responses just don't make any sense. Like we are all stupid!

I understand how you feel about GI and the inconsistent game play as far as fairness. The update really spoiled it for a lot of people. I've only been playing since April and I think the game has been going downhill. It is just mindless entertainment anyway. However I still have things I want to do in the game. Question about under level 11 players: if you just have one player you can give all the paid gifts to them. I only have a few and just gave and gave until I was finished with it. You can do it all at once too; you don't have to wait a day between gifts! Competitions: I'll probably never make the top 3, but maybe I'll get lucky and all the top players will be off their game one day! I can only hope. If I spend 18 hours consistently, I can usually place somewhere in top 100. I pick and choose which products to make. I only have one of a lot of factories so obviously I can't compete on those. Port: I have not noticed a difference either. I think those anchors are random, similar to the coins from daily tasks. I have to rely on others for a lot of things still so I fill my shipments about half the time! So I've got a long way to go to upgrade my port also.

BTW I'm making you ore now for your shipment. I don't think I have enough time to complete it so I hope someone else jumps in and helps.

GI probably needed help on CS so they went outside their office building and found Sophie the first passer byer. Lol

As for showing your age - well, indeed! We probably both are. I'm intrigued about the ages of most players here, it seems there's a general perception that most game players are young and in their 20s and/or early 30s. I'm 44, which puts me decidedly into the age bracket of understanding the "keep trucking" references, I guess? Not sure, really; being a Brit (albeit one who has long since decamped to the Netherlands), this has a deffo CB radio connection to it, but maybe it has other connotations Stateside (which is where I'm guessing you are?).

SteveGPI - Hanham - SO close to Level 50 now, it hurts. Not that I'll get that last medal I need for the bridge or owt as a reward, anyway ;-) Please send trowels, chisels, hammers. Trombones, tuning forks, Hammond organs, cheese sandwiches. Truly - am beyond caring, just love you all ;-)

I feel everyone's annoyance with the game I made everything ahead of time for the commercial port challenge and Eiffel Tower and failed to meet both by the deadline because of the horrible steel drop rates and the avacodos not showing up for 4 days.


Question what should I buy next ? Toy factory? Oil factory? Toy factory? Weaving one? Or furniture? I know I typed the names wrong sorry

Well, you'll need the Oil Refinery to make almost everything in the Toy Factory, so without it, the other is pretty useless. The Furniture Factory is a good one if you have a Sawmill. But again, useless without it. My opinion is the Oil Refinery. Friends' ports are always in need of items from I t and it's a good money maker without needing things from other factories. Just my 2 cents
