Just got Superstar achievement... Thanks to everyone who contributed!

(Player Name: Fred Diggitz / City Name: Stank Biscuit / Level: 29 / Need: TWO more paid gifts for Superstar achievement)

Congrats!!

:-) City: MegVille Player: MegFree1013 Level: 30 Need: Trowels :-)

I'm not getting the 25% discount either...what a bummer! I didn't even pay attention until you pointed it out, and I've already bought 2 thinking it was at a discounted price and not even paying attention.

:-) City: MegVille Player: MegFree1013 Level: 30 Need: Trowels :-)

I've emailed them hopefully will get a response . Last time it happened they claimed that the discount was available only for city credit purchase,

The 25% discount only applies to credit land purchases. It used to also apply to coin purchases. Looks like GI is getting stingier once again.

I got mine with coin purchases. My last purch was over 400,000, but yesterday it was 330 or so. I would never spend cash on a land purchase (except for the unfortunate incident with my daughter & the fat finger.)

Ok what's happening here? This was a lively forum not too long ago. Are all the GI issues getting everyone down? Are we still playing? I know some of you all are. As I am chasing some of you in the ratings. Did we all suffer from cabin fever? And now stretching out in the new spring? Well I hope you all are. Well I hope anyone leaving the game would say good bye here, so we don't worry or wonder what happened to you. Peace

Just watching the opening to the Red Sox game. Very moving. Visited Boston & Mass last summer with the family & caught a Sox game. What a great place! Made us proud to be Americans as we visited historic sites there and Lexington and Concord. God Bless the families, volunteers and heroes. Along the way, we stopped at 9-11 memorial in NY. Very moving. Great how we (even Yankee fans) support each other.
Don't forget prayers for Waco, Texas, and Lushan, China.

Still here GAB...actually in bed sick with a wretched cold...just trying to collect those coconuts. And I agree, this has been too quiet the last few days.

I only produced 12 candy yesterday & did not place. Could have done more, but decided not to (thought I had plenty to place.) 40 coco now. Have not been into the game for a few days- bronchitis keeping me down, but ready to get back to it. I really liked the water park. Bought 2, but wish I could have earned a third.

I didn't do the candy contest but what I find interesting is that a a rule the top three players usually have at least double the fourth place. Hmm...how do they know how many is being made. Will try the coconut flakes but not getting too many in the drops...but of course the leaders will have double. Hope you are feeling better.

Well, it seems like our forum is dealing with health issues. Racket, hope you get well. Park looks nice but I am lacking on the medals. Just coming back from zero pop.

Not getting many. But when they do drop, the selling price is great. I just want to get to the 100 to get the silver medals. Need 1 more for the big hammer then will do another round of upgrades.
Right now I just ache all over and my head feels like it is ready to blow apart.

I use chicken noodle soup, maybe someone could get you some.

Bummer Scooter! I was there a week ago, but it always heads into my chest. I love the big hammer, but also enjoy the paid for upgrade (used one for the last food processing plant.) The 10% off is cool for warehouse (since I have missed both sales.) Going to 42 today to see Jackie Robinson story. Great man! I know that I will be frustrated during the movie as I watch all of the idiots mistreating him.

Worst part of illness is no tennis!

Well...
Do not play much these days.

I was watching the so-called manhunt yesterday, with hundreds of armed to the teeth cops on the streets, and wondering how come a teenager caused a military lockdown in a major city and how come FBI forgot that these two individuals were already on their watch list when the photos first surfaced. Lots of confusion.
And how readily the Boston population complied with the orders to stay indoors, it's unbelievable. It seems implementing martial law in Boston will be really easy, no? That was more disturbing than anything else. Dear Lord, I am so grateful that I live in SC.

Yeah, and the President was visibly upset that the terrorists did not happen to be white-male-Christian-conservative members of NRA/Tea party as Chris Tingle Matthews promised, but the followers of the Religion of Peace again, dammit, and it will be difficult to call it workplace violence or blame some obscure video this time.

I hope the injured people will get better. It was such a disastrous week.

I'm still around and playing. I think we need a new big challenge like ET. Everyone has the tower well under control, so we need some we challenge to get us all going. Also the events of Boston left me feeling a bit sick, and sorry for you all over in the US. It's hard to be enthused over a game when that happens.

In the meantime I am back to growing my population. I need factories to get silver medals.

I have a question for all you folks. My admin building is at level 37 and getting more expensive to upgrade. Do I continue to upgrade or do I keep destroying my cheaper building to keep at a manageable level? What say you experts out there?
