Bbc iplayer when overseas

Would like to use my iPad to view football league show (the blades) when overseas. Safari won't allow use identity cloak ?

I have taken the advise of a number and gone with purevpn. My status is active but it is not clear how I then assume a uk ip so that I can run BBC etc
