Audio books for ipad 2 or ipad4

Help for newbie please. How can I transfer audio books from a laptop to an ipad. Simple terms please as I'm a bit of a techno phobe

The easiest,way to transfer those audio books is via iTunes. Once you load the books into iTunes (on your computer), its a relatively simple matter to transfer them to the iPad.
