I am new to Apple, having just purchased my iPad, which I love!!! On recommendation from a friend, I tried to download the Pages app. Unfortunately, my Internet server went down during the installation, which did not complete. I decided to try again later, but now when I go into the apps store, instead of getting the "buy" option, that box reads "installing". HELP!!

Edited to say I have just realised I have the Pages app icon on my homepage, but it seems stuck with the word "loading" underneath it

Hi, welcome to iPF!

There are a few things you could try:
Restart your iPad (turn off and on again).
Reboot it (press & hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears).
Clear the multitask bar (double tap the Home button to reveal it, then tap and hold an app there until it wiggles, delete all apps there).
Go to App Store - Featured, scroll down to your Apple ID, tap it and sign out. Then sign in again with your Apple ID.
Go to Settings - Airplane Mode, turn it on. Wait a few minutes, then turn it off again.

Welcome to the forum. I'm pleased to read that your problem with downloading Pages has been solved - that's great news
