Apple Photo App

Hi All

I've just loaded all my holiday pics to my Ipad and had a look at them in the Photo app, it was great that I could view where they were taken. All except the ones that were taken on our cruise ship, for some reason they on show up if the co ordinates are land based.
Any ideas on if this can be changed?

Also is there a window equivalent?
