So l got her one, should be next day delivery, only 10 days late. Still had time for lots of Apples.
To business, how to find out how much power is in the battery?

Plug the Apple Pencil into the lightning port, and connect it to the iPad via Bluetooth. As soon as it’s connected, you’ll find it’s battery level in Today View.
