And now for some rumors from China. Apple has reportedly ordered a huge number of Retina Display from producers Samsung and LG Display for its next generation iPad of course. Since everybody is expecting the device to pop out from the void, next month, the 65 million display rumored to have been imported by the Curpertino company don’t seem to be too huge.

The report was made by the publication ChinaTimes, but in it we find no mention of Sharp, another company that has been rumored to provide the much needed high-resolution displays for the iPad 3. A number of leaked photos have been supporting the theory that Sharp display were really in the making and has even passed the tasting stage. Therefore we’re still confussed about wether the Sharp display will be used along side with those supplied by Samsung or LG Display or not.

The next generation iPad is expected to sport a massive 2,048 x 1,536 pixel Retina display, qual-core A6 processor, an improved camera and a LTE chip. 65 million units is a incredibily huge numbers, but we guess that it does showcase Apple confidence that the device will be a smash hit. Just compare to how many displays the tech giant ordered for the iPad 2 – they were only 40 million. Lets hope that this increased number will spare us of having to wait so much to get our hands on the device.

At the moment, the iPad 2 is the hottest tablet on the market and sold 15.4 million only during the holiday quarter. With innovations such as the wonderful Retina display, Apple might break the record it just broke a couple of months ago.
