Apple ID not working for FaceTime and iMessage.

I turned off FaceTime and I message, when I turned it back on it asked to sign on with apple ID. I have tried everything and I know my ID and password are correct, but it keeps saying apple ID or password are incorrect. I even went to my account and changed the password but to no avail. HELP! Thanks!

I believe that FaceTime and iMessage apps are system apps and can never be deleted.

How about a reset. Press and hold the home and power buttons simultaneously, until the Apple logo appears. When the iPad restarts, see if the problem persists.

I just looked at this page.http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/. Apple is not reporting any problems with FaceTime or anything else at this time.
