Any need to delete private messages?

Hello! I'm totally new here. Glad to have discovered the app and these forums. Now right after registering, I get the automated welcome message (private), which I promptly tried to delete (after reading it of course), only to have "replied" to the sender. Whoops! There's no obvious DELETE MESSAGE button or command. So there's no need to delete 'em?

Just curious.

Okay. I've just discovered the solution by myself.

It's a swipe left. Then the red delete button appears.
