Alleged iPad 5 Rear Shell In Space Grey Surface

Since Apple's huge iPhone media event, which unveiled the iPhone 5S and 5C, iOS fans are now patiently awaiting the company's final event for 2013. At Apple's next event, currently rumored for October, the company is expected to unveil the new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2nd generation. Previous leaks and rumors have told us that the iPad 5 will take on the iPad Mini design as well as cutting down the side bezels.

While the iPhone 5S is now available in three colors, rumor are flying around that the same color ways will be available for the iPad models. This would mean that Apple would be dropping the "slate" color completely and replacing it with the new "space grey".

New photos coming from Sonny Dickson this morning showing an alleged iPad 5 rear shell in the space grey color. In the past we've seen leaks of the iPad 5 rear shell in slate, which makes the entire color rumor a bit more interesting.
