Airplay

Hi there. This is my first time using the forum. I am pleased to be here.
I am having problems using Airplay using my ipad with my Apple TV. I have tried everything I know. Can someone help?

It would be useful to know what the problems are that you are having......also, what model iPad do you have?

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. Yes they are both on the same wifi network.
I have an ipad 3

What i am trying to do is watch a video from the CTV app. The video has the Airplay symbol and when i click on it, it tells me to enable Airplay mirroring by double clicking on the home key and swipe to the left. When I do this, I do not see an airplay symbol.

If it'll help - try the double-click again. But this time, swipe to the right to reveal from the left. You should see this set-up:

Thanks for your help. I reset my Apple TV and now it's working. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Linda
