I have given up on YouTube on iPad. Watching the grass grow is more exciting (and it doesn't grow much in the winter)

Reset Didn't work. This is pretty frustrating considering YouTube on my itouch is working. Thanks anyway.

I had the same problem that limited my iPad use, but now I changed my router to net gear 3700 and up my speed to 25mbps you tube or any video plays instantly and no pause. Others say it's not the connection speed and the router. I say it is.

Can it be your router when one wifi device is fine with YouTube and the other is slow. Also when I use the YouTube native app it's fine. YouTube inside the ipadforum app is slow.

Yes actually it can. Its like my old home router used to be, I could have 3 different devices connected at different times, and all would have different speeds, even if the same distance from the router.

Ok it's the router when 3 devices connect at different speeds? I think not. The router is doing it's job, the different devices do their jobs at different levels of performance. 2 laptops, 1desktop, 2droid phones, and 2 wifi blue rays play you tube like tv on my network. iPads level of performance is severly lacking. It stops and starts making you tube unwatchable. iPad is a great Internet device otherwise, oh wait I forgot about Flash.

Note I said connected at DIFFERENT times. Not all at the same time.

YouTube and iPad don't like each other that much.Unlike a regular PC or MAC, If you don"t have a fast clean internet connection, the movie will not run smoothly.

Exactly. You need a fast Internet connection to actually use YouTube without headache.
