As the final countdown begins & none of us deliver a productive days work due to the energy of boring our coworkers to death with the "10 reasons I'm not coming to work on Monday because I just got my iPad" routine...

What will be your first (3):

    1. Movies
    2. Apps
    3. Pictures

...You load onto your blessed "me" Pad?

For me: Movies - Up, Lawnmower Man, Transformers 2
Apps - Bento, Mancing Dolecules, Home Routines
Pictures - Images of South Africa

    Your turn...

I'll probably load some TV episodes (complete seasons) on mine: Entourage, 24, Dexter, and then probably to have to throw something for the wife to watch.. Trueblood :)

I was considering it but i figured i would have to get insurance to make sure it doesn't get stolen from my hotel room (i know i have a safe but i'm still uncomfortable) Also i would have to buy the wall plug accessory which to me is a big waste of money...
Therefore i settled on taking my iTouch :D and plus i'll have my Crackberry

Awesome...looking forward to see the results of other artist's increased sales or "closing the deal" by utilizing the iPad as a portfolio show of their works!

Let me know how that goes for you!

I'm going to load that app that lets you view the movies stored on your computer—AirVideo, iBooks, Pages and Numbers. Ya, I know it's 4 apps—let's just count iWork as 1, k?

No movies for me, but I'll load pics of my friends and my friends' families from Aperture.

I've also got 45 books I just loaded into iTunes in .epub format that I can't wait to read. I'll also be buying a couple books, dependent on price of course.

My movie collection is 99% Divx or AVI format. Can't imagine convert all of them if iPad will not support those formats.

My initial goal was to quickly get some adequately entertaining video to keep me amused on airplanes and such without spending a ton of money on a per-hour basis. I downloaded a season of Star Trek: Deep Space 9 (well under a buck an hour, whee!) and two movies (The Eagle Has Landed, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). I chose the movies because I've seen them and they are okay, plus they were inexpensive! A cheapskate, aren't I? :)

Does it convert the video's on the fly or do they play in their native formats?
    edit: They get converted.
