The home button is covered by a thin membrane that allows TouchID to work through it. Good night GDsunshine, see you tomorrow.

Thanks for posting. I'm getting the Air 2 for my hubby. It will be his first iPad. I'm kinda excited for him cuz I love mine (older version iPad) so much.

This is also my first iPad (Air2) and my first iPhone (5s), I'm still trying to figure out what took me so long to get iDevices (smile). I'm sure he will ENJOY it. [emoji2]
